Brian A. Bukowski is a Consultant with The Sargent Consulting Group, LLC. Brian graduated from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL with both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting, earning cum laude status as an undergraduate. While a graduate student, he also served as a Graduate Assistant where he assisted with teaching responsibilities and professional research.

Brian’s Masters degree was earned in NIU’s cutting-edge “Leadership Master of Accounting Science Program” (LMAS), constructed to integrate professional accounting knowledge with specific leadership development skills and competencies necessary for individuals entering the accounting profession. As part of the LMAS program, Brian participated in facilitation and feedback workshops, debates, an e-mentorship and business valuation capstone course.

Brian worked his way through school serving as a Brand Visual/Merchandise Expert at an international retailer. In this capacity, he trained employees in best practices, assisted in store compliance audits, forecasted sales trends and created action plans to improve store performance.

Brian enjoys photography, playing tennis, raising fish and playing bingo. His diverse set of interests also includes the medical field: chemistry, biology, biochemistry and pharmaceuticals, health and human sciences. One of Brian’s personal goals is to travel more domestically and internationally.

Brian also now serves as an occasional guest lecturer at universities, having spoken recently at his alma mater, Northern Illinois University and The University of Saint Francis.
